We stayed in the Harris cottage for four nights it was amazing nothing was too much trouble for jane the owner we had a brilliant stay

A beautiful, cozy accommodation with a delicious breakfast, warm hospitality, and many lovely touches. 😀 - A beautiful and very cozy accommodation with great attention to detail. We received a warm welcome and felt completely at ease throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the hostess (Jane) was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. Her great tips for excursions and the little surprises also made our stay special. We wholeheartedly recommend Balmridge House and would return anytime!

😀 - Oh, what can I say? Jane is a natural hostess, incredibly helpful and very friendly. The rooms are beautiful, and everything is extremely clean and tidy. The location is truly fantastic, and there are lovely restaurants nearby. Being close to the forest is perfect for beautiful, long hikes. 😞 - The town itself is a bit overcrowded, which is due to the Nessie hype. There isn't that much to see, and unfortunately, we didn't spot the Nessie monster. 😅

A wonderful memory 😀 - The warm welcome, helpful advice, and conversations with the owners. The magnificent room and bathroom with spa. The thoughtful touches in the room upon returning at the end of the day, like scones and shortbread cookies... The setting and the view. The à la carte breakfast, which was very varied and excellent. 😞 - Nothing

😀 - Strategic location for reaching northern Scotland, the Isle of Skye, and much more. Jane was extremely friendly, warm, thoughtful, and kind. She gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat. The breakfast was very generous. The room was a jewel with everything you need and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details. I would definitely recommend it.

We had a wonderful experience at Balmridge House. Jane is an excellent host and we really felt at home. Thanks Jane! 😀 - We loved our stay at Balmridge House. The view from the dining area was spectacular. The room had everything you could possibly want for a very comfortable stay. The Balmridge breakfast was delicious and the welcome goodies were lovely. Jane was a wonderful host she helped to book us in for dinner and even made us fresh delicious homemade scones one day. We would love to come back and stay again and would absolutely recommend it. 😞 - Nothing at all.

Perfect B&B to relax 😀 - The best place we've stayed during our tour of Scotland. Jane and Jim make you feel at home and give excellent advice on the area, each morning it was a pleasure to chat with them over a delicious breakfast. The house is very quiet and you can relax in the beautiful common room after a day hiking around Loch Ness. 😞 - Nothing

Amazing service at this beautiful B&B. Quiet location closer to Skye (for our day trip) and out of the crowds of Inverness. Jane was a fantastic host. Breakfast was wonderful and the rooms were very nice.

Love in every detail - would do it again anytime ♥️ 😀 - The accommodation is owner-operated, and you can tell from beginning to end. The room furnishings are high-quality (everything is 100% cotton), and everything is thoughtfully designed down to the last detail. In the afternoon, you even get muffins delivered to your room. Breakfast is served and personalized. Thank you for this wonderful stay.

Homely guest house experience with wonderful friendly service. 😀 - A cosy, well appointed guest house with a view back to Drumnadrochit and the Loch. Comfortable bedroom, and good breakfast. Hosts are keen to offer a home from home experience, full of personal touches. 😞 - Nothing really.

We had two wonderful nights at Jane's. Everything is so lovingly prepared, and Jane is always happy to answer questions and offer tips. She recommended a trip to the Black Isle, as there's a chance of seeing dolphins there at this time of year. We were lucky – it was a fantastic experience! Urquhart Castle is also nearby. Balmridge House is run with heart and soul! The rooms are charmingly furnished, and even bathrobes are provided. Every detail is perfect, and Jane is an outstanding host – it's so much more than just a place to stay. We really appreciate this personal touch. Thank you, Jane!
